Advanced heart failure APPs belong at programs that actually have HF patients: transplant centers, durable MCS / VAD programs, and tertiary referral hospitals. Community hospitals typically transfer their high-acuity HF patients out, so we do not place HF APPs there. We recruit experienced HF / transplant / VAD APPs into permanent roles at programs where the acuity, infrastructure, and physician partners match the work.
We only place HF APPs into programs with transplant, durable MCS, or tertiary HF volume. No community-hospital backfills.
VAD call, transplant workup, and inpatient cardiogenic shock coverage are part of the screening conversation.
For searches Hire Caliber conducts, fees are paid by the hiring organization, so candidates are not charged a recruiting fee.
Generally no. Community hospitals usually transfer advanced HF patients out, so the role rarely matches an experienced HF APP's scope. We focus on transplant, MCS, and tertiary programs.
Whether an early-career candidate fits depends on the hiring program’s requirements.
Timing varies with the requirements, location, interview process, licensure, and credentialing. We present qualified candidates as the search develops and keep you updated throughout.
